Loveless Questions Russell’s Commitment to the People of SD 45
We saw this alleged back in the primary with the Wesselhoft/McGowen race. Sounds like Mr. Russell isn’t taking Mr. Loveless too serious. We received this email this afternoon:
Today, conservative Republican candidate Kyle Loveless questioned Steve Russell’s commitment to the people of Senate District 45 in light of Russell’s trip to New England less than two weeks before the primary runoff on August 26th.
“Yesterday, I went door to door and made over 200 personal phone calls, meeting people at their doors listening to them about why they want a conservative leader. My opponent was off in New England campaigning for another candidate,” said Loveless.
Russell was in New Hampshire campaigning for Jennifer Horn for Congress.
“If the people of Senate District 45 aren’t getting Russell’s full attention now in the heat of a campaign, when will they? Maybe I’m old-fashioned, but I believe representatives should earn the votes of the people who they want to represent instead of traveling across the country when they should be earning votes.”
“Russell has been dodging debating me, and now I now why, he planned on taking a vacation in New England and campaigning there instead of SD 45.”
“Oklahomans deserve better than politicians who say one thing and do another. Russell said it right, ‘There is a lot of rhetoric, but it’s people’s actions that matter.’ Steve Russell’s actions speak volumes. Apparently, Oklahoma voters aren’t his first priority.”
“He feels that he has this runoff election wrapped up. Like I said election night, Rocky didn’t win his first match, and Rusell’s ego and confidence will be his downfall.”
