From Examiner.com:

Speaker Pro Tem Kris Steele
As Republicans struggle all over America to reclaim their identity, Oklahoma House Republicans face a tough decision this fall as they face an election for the next Speaker of the House.
The Republican’s rules state that an election must be held between the middle of October and November 15th, and two members are the leading candidates: Speaker Pro Tem Kris Steele of Shawnee and Appropriations Chairman Ken Miller of Edmond.
Steele, an associate pastor at a Shawnee Methodist church, is the early favorite over Miller. But conservative Republicans outside the house GOP caucus are wary of Steel’s liberal tendencies, and the liberal-leaning and indolent Oklahoma press has done nothing to expose those flaws.
“Republicans in Oklahoma aren’t going to know a damn thing about this race, and the ‘aw-shucks’ liberal ab out to become Speaker,” one political insider, an avowed Steele critic, says about the election.

By the way you left out the part about Ken Miller, who is the other Speaker candidate screwing everything in the capitol in a skirt, including his L.A.! Where is that story?

If you’re going to make a derogatory comment atleast spell “liar” right. You Moron! Steele has been campaigning for this position for nearly a year and doesnt have it locked up. He tried commitment cards to “secure” the position and realized he doesnt have the votes yet. What a joke.

He ignores a deceased child’s family’s pleas to let her rest in peace. He will not put best interests over political pressure.

I hope some reporters will be taking a closer look at Steele’s pay to play schemes… the only reason he wasn’t mentioned publicly in the scandal when it broke on Hiett was that nobody ever figured Steele would be in charge of anything. Ask around, it’s hardly a secret

This blog is so craptastically craptastic it makes me do stuff like accidentally shoot milk out my nose while eating a bowl of cereal as I reading this nonsense and chortle at the craptasticness of it. Thanks for the laughs, OKPNS. Keep bringin’ the crazy!
