Istook doesn't take into account the number of families that are damaged by the incarceration of those who use and distribute marijuana annually, which is much worse than the damage done by the effects of the drug itself. Anybody who has ever smoked marijuana or done any sort of research knows it is by far safer than alcohol as an intoxicant, and much more safe than any legal prescription drug or over the counter drug in regards to long-term health effects.

The legalization of marijuana would not only free millions of citizens from unnecessary jail time and fines, it would also create unskilled and skilled jobs in every state, create tax revenue for federal and local governments, and help keep the drug out of the hands of criminals and away from violence.

The fact FOX news put a politician up against a pro-wrestling "marijuana activist" is a joke, it very clearly shows a bias in how they want to present the platform of legalization. The simple posting of this single video also shows bias in this site itself.
