To all the aspiring bloggers out there, this is what can happen to you when you over rely on press releases for content for your blog. To restore you’re credibility, you’ll eventually have to resort to posting a lengthy diatribe on “playing with fire,”
One would think that a veteran journalist would have known better than to put up a press release touting fund raising numbers without seeing the proof first!

The most significant detail there is the fact that Calvey gave his campaign $100,000. That is pretty strong, especially considering the fact that a candidate very seldom loans his campaign the maximum amount that he intends to. So to me, the story is–how much more money does Calvey have sitting in the bank ready to go?? That’s what I would be wondering if I was one of the other Fifth District candidates…

This was a Bode move. Recall that she told the world she had one million dollars raised when 300k of it was a loan to herself? Since Calvey is out to copy Bode’s moves from the last election, maybe he’ll finish 3d like she did.
