  1. Ernest Istook “debates” Ron Paul on marijuana? It seems to me Istook interrupts Paul every time Paul opens his mouth! I don’t know if Istook is a lawyer, but the judge will throw him on his ass if he interrupts the procedure like that.

  2. Yes, Irnest has been trained well. He knows if the American people actually get to hear a real debate they are going to realize the truth.
His comment about having THC available by prescription shows that he has been schooled in how to avoid the truth getting out. Also it shows what the true agenda is here. American Pharma groups want the profit from this medicine. But by making this into a pill they have admitted that there is a medical use from this plant. The funny part of that is that marinol is 100% THC and when the drug warriors offer that little tidbit about “todays marijuana is not your fathers marijuana” ” it is 30% higher in THC than it was in the ’60’s” But the marinol pill being 100% THC isn’t dangerous? That doesn’t make any sense to me?
Speak to anyone who has taken this “marijuana pill” and ask them if they thought it worked well or if they felt ok on it. You will find most people do not like it. I have heard many say that it makes them paranoid or causes headaches. Marinol is prescribed for nausea, but how do you keep a pill down when you’re throwing up? Also it takes about 45 minutes to take effect, smoking acts on the nausea almost immediately, so you don’t have to smoke more than you need. But the biggest complaint is the effect of this pill is that it immobilizes you for way too long.
Thank goodness that Ernie is no longer in Congress, that we ” his subjects” will no longer be under his thumb.
Marijuana laws will be changing soon. There are too many out there that know the truth. The baby boomer generation is no coming of age. We are the ones that are being able to retire and have time to be able to call Congress on their nonsense.
We want see FREEDOM BEFORE DIE!

  3. Sigh.. marinol is useless to a lot of people, especially asthmatics like me. 1 or 2 inhalations helps open my airways and stops my wheezing. Legalize it in its natural form. Let the doctors and patients determine the best means of consumption for their particular needs.

  4. I was born with a chest deformity called “pectus carinatum”, or “pigeons breast”, which caused constant pain that made it hard for me to focus on anything else… Although I first tried marijuana in my rebelious years, I instantly noticed that it was extremely affective in alleviating the pain and helped me focus on the task at hand… I am older and wiser now, and I think that it’s just a shame that people are in jail because of this plant!! Let’s make a change in oklahoma to stop waisting resources on criminalizing cannabis, and start benefitting for once off of the taxes & other revenue that could be achieved from legalization.. I want the peaceful pot smokers out of jail, where they belong.. It should be a basic freedom to use any plant how we want. Who should be able tell you what you can’t grow in your own personal garden?? This plant is ruining families, because you get thrown in jail for having it, no other reason.. Good god, just think.. Peace!
