imcomplete thought. That last sentence should say, “…those who feel that using government to expand their wealth at taxpayer expense is a proper function of government?”

Sounds like we have someone here who has no understanding of the proper role of government… kinda like those welfare-happy Democrats and country club Republicans.

I find it interesting that someone would accuse the editor of being a communist over this. I’ve disagreed with plenty on here, namely the “Free Raye Dawn” diatribe and the “Nick’s Law” fiasco, but how is it communistic to take a stand against those who feel that using government to expand their wealth at taxpayer expense?

There is only one person in Oklahoma who calls me “Arps” RC, so I know who you are, so I’d be very careful if I was you. If you have a beef with me, be a man and call me personally if you have a problem with what’s posted on OKPNS.

And yes, I am a capitalist and I’m in business myself, but I have real problems as – AN AMERICAN – when wealthy corporations want to hire illegal aliens instead of United States citizens. Let’s also not mention their scheme to repeal HB 1804 and their last minute election shenanigans against a true patriot Rep. Randy Terrill.

Sounds a little “Communist” to me to suggest that I “leave Oklahoma to us” as you say. Do I need a travel pass to come to Oklahoma like in the old Soviet days? Maybe you want the state of Oklahoma to monitor the site and censor it too maybe?

When did you become a communist, Arps? Why do you find it necessary to tear down Oklahoma’s corporate citizens that regularly (if not always) give to Republican candidates? Republicans are in favor of bringing people up and allowing them the opportunity to be successful. You have the attitude of once they get big it’s time to tear them down.
And what Republican is not in favor of tax breaks? Apparently you.

What is even more confusing is that you were planning to give “fair and balanced” coverage of the Sonics case up in Seattle. Now that it’s over you choose to no longer be fair and balanced. You sound just like one of the “Save our Sonics” guys in Seattleand you don’t even live in Oklahoma OR Seattle. You’re in St. Louis! Why not leave Oklahoma to us and you focus on your own state–it has a few problems a little bigger than what we are dealing with here.

I recommend that you reassess what conservatism really is before you post further.
