There's three things you can count on in life. The sun rising in the east and setting in the west; your eventual passing into the next life; and Democrats
- usually a month out from an election - pretending to care about African American's issues by trotting out the same old tired preachers who have been "bought off" a long time ago. It doesn't matter what state or city, the playbook is always the same. This election cycle is no different. From
okbluenotes.com:
"Pastors J.A. Reed Jr., Arnelious Crenshaw Jr., James H. Tucker, George E. Young Sr, and the Oklahoma Democratic Party will host a Meet & Greet with Anastasia Pittman, Democrat Nominee for State Representative - House District 99 for the faith community and religious leaders."
They'll also add injury to the insult by talking about minimum wage - when 80% of African Americans are in the middle class - and by trying to convince African Americans that they are a penstroke or Supreme Court justice away from being back in slavery. They'll also harken back to the 2000 and 2004 presidential elections claiming voter disenfranchisement - even though the areas that had the problems in Florida and Ohio were Democratically controlled. But if it works, why not continue to use it?
